PISCATAWAY, NJ - This game had a look and feel to it eerily similar to many in the latter part of this long football season for the East Brunswick High School football team. Piscataway ran at the Bears at will, and the Bears offense was unable to muster any kind of consistent offense, and Piscataway cruised to a large halftime lead, then blowing the game opening the second half, as Piscataway routed the Bears, 49-7, on Friday in Piscataway.

Elijah Pierson and Elijah Barnwell each had two touchdown runs for Piscataway, and then after Brandon Tomori scored the Bears only touchdown in the third quarter, Pierson capped the day by returning the ensuing kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown.. The Chiefs ran for more than 200 yards in the game, controlling both the game and the clock throughout.

Bears QB Kevin Hemmings had over 70 yards rushing in the game to provide of glimmer of optimism on a night which typified much of the Bears season.
