EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Coach Bob Molarz makes his debut Sept. 12 as coach of East Brunswick High School, as the Bears face a formidable opening foe in South Brunswick High School. The game will be played at the Vikings' home field starting at 7 p.m.

Molarz, previously at the helm of Carteret and St. Joseph's of Metuchen, hopes to help the Bears bounce back from a disappointing 2-7 record in their 2012 campaign, the final season for longtime coach Marcus Borden, who had been coaching at East Brunswick since 1983.

However, the Bears face an uphill challenge as nine of their opponents were playoff participants last year, and only three starters return on offense for a team learning an entirely new offensive style.
