EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - On Sunday, February 25th at 6:30 pm on the EBHS football field, the Township of East Brunswick will host a vigil to honor the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida and those of prior school shootings and to show our commitment to the safety of our school community.

On February 14, which was both Ash Wednesday and Valentine's Day, 17 students and teachers were killed and 15 students and teachers were injured by one shooter with one gun on the high school campus.

Resident members of East Brunswick for Safe Schools and students who have organized this event will focus on where we go from here and the need for student activism. #Never Again is a rising national movement begun by Parkland survivors to raise awareness about and put an end to gun violence and the asy access to military-style weapons.
