EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick boys lacrosse team needed overtime to defeat St. Joseph's of Metuchen, 15-14, on Thursday.

Sean Kelliher scored four goals and assisted on two to lead the East Brunswick attack. The Bears (4-2) took a 6-2 lead after one quarter, but squandered a two-goal lead in the fourth quarter.

Timmy Smith finished with three goals and two assists, and Tim Gudzak had three goals and one assist for the Bears. Thomas Bahmer had two goals and two assists, and Jack Solimini finished with two goals and an assist in the victory. Michael Thomas scored once and distributed two assists.

Joseph DeGuida paced East Brunswick in ground balls with 11.
