Bridgewater Library Hosts Steve Forbes Book Signing April 17

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey will present An Afternoon with Steve Forbes, Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media and widely respected economic prognosticator, at SCLSNJ’s Bridgewater Library branch, located at 1 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater, on Sunday, April 17, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Forbes will give a presentation, answer questions, and sign books. Photo opportunities will also be available. There is limited seating for the 1:30 p.m. presentation; registration is required.

Forbes’ new book, Reviving America: How Repealing Obamacare, Replacing the Tax Code and Reforming the Fed will Restore Hope and Prosperity, was written for Americans on the verge of a new presidential campaign season, a time of heightened policy debate

Forbes twice ran unsuccessfully as a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, grew up in Far Hills, and is a resident of Bedminster.

In the book, Forbes argues that taxes, money, and healthcare are at the heart of America’s stagnation and malaise and that reform in these vital areas is essential if America is to overcome today’s dysfunction and divisions.

Forbes and co-author Elizabeth Ames offer specific ideas and plans as a clear and vital guide to recover the optimism and entrepreneurial dynamism that made America the greatest nation in history.  

During the event, there will be raffles including an iPad and upscale bookends. Light refreshments will be provided.

Barnes & Noble’s Bridgewater location will be present at the event with copies of Reviving America, as well as Forbes’ other books, available for purchase. A portion of all sales will be donated to the Friends of the Bridgewater Library. A portion of purchases made online or at any Barnes & Noble store nationwide Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 using code 11841814, will also be donated to the Friends of the Bridgewater Library.
