NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - At Congregation B'nai Tikvah (1001 Finnegans Lane, North Brunswick, NJ,) people are still talking about last year’s fabulous Comedy Night, and this year’s program promises to be even better with nationally renowned comedians including Richie Byrne, Johnny Lampert, and Stone and Stone.
For over twenty years Richie Byrne has worked the top comedy venues here and abroad. Richie has served as the warm-up comic for “The Dr. Oz Show” since its inception in 2009 and recently performed at Radio City Music Hall as the opening act to the “Dr. Oz Health & Happiness Summit.” He writes, produces and stars in his own musical variety series “The Richie Byrne Show,” which can be seen at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.
Johnny Lampert is considered one of the premier comedians in the country. He is a regular at New York City’s and Los Angeles’ best comedy clubs including The Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s Comedy Club and The Improv. Johnny has made numerous appearances on national television including featured performances on MTV, A&E, Comedy Central, NBC, and HBO Comedy Showcase.
Stone and Stone (the Stone twins) were semi-finalists on “Last Comic Standing.” They have performed on New York Friars Club roasts for people including Dennis Rodman, George Takei and Padma Lakshmi and they also host a web series presented by truTV called “Grown up, Grown down.” Their “Stone and Stone Show” is the longest-running standup show at The PIT, and you can find them performing at clubs and theaters throughout New York.
