EDISON, NJ - The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders is proud to present the 10th Annual Labor Day Weekend Concert. This free event will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6 at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater on Pine Drive in Roosevelt Park in Edison. The gates will open at 3 p.m.

 

Come to Roosevelt Park for an evening of unforgettable, high energy entertainment featuring Shirley Alston Reeves, original lead singer of the Shirelles and The Mahoney Brothers Jukebox Heroes Show.

“We are pleased to present this annual event,” said Freeholder Charles E. Tomaro, chair of the County’s Infrastructure Management Committee, which oversees the Parks and Recreation Office. “This concert is always an entertaining show that is fun for the whole family. It is certainly one of my favorite events of the year!”

  Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios said: “Middlesex County is very proud of beautiful Roosevelt Park. It is the perfect setting to enjoy live music.  On behalf of the Freeholder Board, I encourage all residents to join us for this wonderful free event.”  

The concert is free and open to the public. Concertgoers must bring their own lawn chairs. If necessary, a rain date will be announced.
