EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Since its initial meeting at the Colonial Diner, the newly reinstituted East Brunswick Chamber of Commerce has been hard at work getting the organization up and running; filing with the state and federal governments; opening a bank account; and planning inaugural events.
The first event is a kickoff networking event on Sept. 14 at Bonefish Grill from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Part of the meeting will serve as the chamber’s initial board meeting and (re)organization. The board of directors and executive board will be voted on and sworn into their roles. There will be minor housekeeping items and report on the planning for a January celebratory event. Additional information about the chamber can be found on its Facebook page.
Attendees are invited to bring business cards to the event for sharing.
East Brunswick Economic Development Officer Jonathan Sternesky said, "We greatly hope you are able to attend and are able to help spread the word to interested businesspeople in town. ‘Members in Good Standing’ otherwise known as members who have paid their full dues will be welcome to attend for free, while nonpaid members and other interested stakeholders will be able to attend for a nominal fee. Please let me know if you plan to attend."
Sternesky can be reached at 732-390-6810 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
