East Brunswick: Driver of White Van Approaching Students at Bus Stops

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick Police has received 2 reports of a white commercial work van approaching juveniles at bus stops in our town.  

The first incident took place on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at approximately 6:40am in the area of Dunhams Corner Road and Valley Forge Drive.  The white van was observed slowing down and asking a juvenile "What school do you go to?"  The incident was reported to police later that evening.

The second incident occurred today, February 22, 2017 at approximately 3:15pm in the section of town known as the "President's Streets" off of Old Stage Road.  The driver of the white van offered a juvenile a ride home.  The van could only be described as a white work van with no visible markings and possibly a NJ registration.

In the first incident, the driver was described as an Asian male, approximately 30 years old, with black hair and black stubble facial hair.  In the second incident, the driver was only described as being a male, no age or race.

Police are conducting increased directed patrols of area neighborhoods and the East Brunswick Police Department's Detective Bureau has been investigating both incidents.  Anyone who observes this vehicle in the area is asked to contact the police immediately.
