East Brunswick Girls Basketball Seeded 6th in GMC Tournament

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick girls basketball team has been seeded sixth for the upcoming Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament.

Although the tournament gets under way with preliminary round games this weekend, East Brunswick (11-8) will not commence play in the tourney until next Wednesday, when the Bears will host the survivor of early round games involving JFK Iselin, Woodbridge Academy and Monroe,

Should East Brunswick advance with a first-round victory, they would play a quarterfinal round game Saturday, Feb. 18 at New Brunswick High School. The semifinals are scheduled for South Brunswick High School Feb. 21, with the championship game to be played Feb. 24 at the Rutgers Athletic Center.

Sayreville is the top seed in the tournament.
