EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The golf season is in full swing, and the Lady Bears are 4-1. This season's starting roster looks includes seniors Sayaka Carpenter and Jessica Song, juniors Sophia Hu and Carmen Phu and sophomores Alexandra Caro and Amanda Phu. The Bears have been consistent for the last three years, winning the GMC title and look to win it again this year to make it four in a row.

Sayaka is one of the best golfers in the state this year, and two out of the last three years she has won the individual Greater Middlesex Conference title. Coach Motusesky says the team is improving every day, looking to always get better as the year goes on.

"Rather lose early than late, especially when it comes time to win another GMC title.  The goal for the rest of the season is to keep the winning streak going, and to qualify for state sectionals and the tournament of champions," Motusesky said.
