East Brunswick Medical Students Ezzat and Lee Earn Scholarships

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The Middlesex County Medical Society Foundation, founded in 1964 and funded by contributions from the first mass polio vaccination in our county , has been annually awarding scholarships to top local students in the fields of medicine, nursing, and pharmacy since that time.  

This year, East Brunswick's Bishoy Ezzat and Christopher Lee were each awarded a $1,500 scholarship from the foundation.  Scholarships are earned for a student's academic excellence and financial need. Ezzat is a student at the New Jersey medical School in Newark.  Lee studies Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Rutgers.

The foundation has announced the 2017 scholarship recipients as follows:  in nursing, Marie-Eline Blondin;   in pharmacy, Tiffany Cheng and Jennifer Tamayo;  and in medicine,  Bishoy Ezzat, Muhammad Padela, Vatsal Bhatt, Subhashini Chandrasekaran,  Christopher Lee, Devas Modi,  Amy Patel,  Parita Patel,  Ajay Rajshekar,  Ravindra Sangitha,  Nishant Shah,  Daniel Shor,  Akanksha Arya,  and Varsha Kurup.
