EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - On Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18 the East Brunswick Museum Corporation will host candlelit tours of the historic Chestnut Hill Cemetery on Old Bridge Turnpike in East Brunswick. Costumed re-enactors in historic dress will entertain visitors with stories and displays about the lives of former residents of the Historic Village of Old Bridge (East Brunswick).
Over 500 luminarias will outline the path of the tour. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own flashlight for safety. Light refreshments are available at the end of the tour. Parking is available on site. This event is not appropriate for anyone with difficulty walking on uneven ground or children in strollers.
Tours will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the event will end at 8:30 p.m. each night. The tour takes approximately one hour to complete. Tickets will be available at the cemetery for $8 per adult and $2 per child under age 12.
