EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Following a motor vehicle stop for an illegal turn near East Brunswick's Historic District, 3 men and 1 woman were charged by the EBPD with possession of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana. The tangle of streets near Main Street is also the location of Bowne-Munro School, so the charges also included Intent to Distribute in a School Zone.
According to a report issued by the East Brunswick Police Department today, on February 2, 2018 at approximately 5pm, Patrolman Brian Woodruff arrested 4 individuals for possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana following a motor vehicle stop.
Patrolman Woodruff stopped a 2004 Dodge pickup for an improper turn in the area of Main Street near the entrance ramp to Hwy 18 southbound. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, Patrolman Woodruff detected the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle and subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of marijuana, 56 bags of heroin and 25 bags of cocaine.
Charged were Juan Carlo Severino-Salazar, 19, of New Brunswick, Tatiana Garcia-Hidalgo, 18, of New Brunswick, David Natal, 31, of North Brunswick and Donnie Dotson, 47, of Trenton.
All four were charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute and Possession with Intent to Distribute in a School Zone. Dotson was also charged with Possession of Marijuana.
All four were released pending a court date.
