EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Growing up on Park Avenue in East Brunswick, Jack Jaskowski always admired the historic home on 312 Riva Avenue which was the original residence of the Dallenbach family.  Three years ago, he purchased the house which was originally built in the 1880's along with its wooden barn.  Today, the barn became part of history after it went up in flames.

Members of the Brookview Fire Department and the Milltown Fire Department attended to the emergency which was reported by the owner. Jaskowski had recently completed cleaning up his property using a lawn mower to collect leaves when a family member reported smoke coming from the barn.  After realizing that the fire could not be contained, Jaskowski called 911.
