EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick Public Library would like to invite the community for a very special event. On Sunday, Jan. 26, at 1:15 a.m., the Library will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the addition of three small group study rooms. Refreshments will be served.
The rooms come as a generous donation from the Friends of the Library and can be used by community groups, businessmen, students and more.
“This is a real example of how the Friends Membership gives directly back to improve the services of the library,” said Library Director MaryEllen Firestone. “This is a huge gift to the Library and I hope everyone can come out to celebrate.”
Firestone said she is looking forward to having community groups, students and businessmen come to think of the library as a place where they can conduct business and brainstorm.
The Library has a variety of services that can help any group be productive, including free Wifi, computers, copiers, printing services, research tools and more.
“People have been requesting Group Study Rooms for years,” said Firestone. “This is something we’ve been working toward, and it affords us the opportunity to provide a place for students, business people, home-based entrepreneurs and others a place for small groups to meet, work and brainstorm.”
