EDISON, NJ - The East Brunswick girls basketball team broke a four-game losing streak with a 50-47 victory over Edison Tuesday night.

Trailing by a point at halftime, East Brunswick outscored the Eagles, 15-10, in the third quarter to take a four-point lead. Nicole Johnson led the Bears (7-4) with 16 points.

Bianca Nakar finished with 10 points for East Brunswick, which will look to build a new winning streak with a road game at J.P. Stevens Thursday at 7 p.m.
