SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The East Brunswick girls lacrosse team built a five-goal lead in the first half and held on for a 10-8 victory over South Plainfield on Tuesday.

Madelyn Farrell, who had one assist, and Caitlyn Robertson each scored three goals for East Brunswick, which led, 8-3, at halftime. Brianna Bogle, Kristen Maxwell, Maria Marmora and Angini Ragumar each netted one goal for the Bears.

East Brunswick (2-4) was outshot, 32-27, but winning goalie Heather Solomon stood up to the challenge, making 18 saves.
