EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick girls lacrosse team opened its season with a 16-10 victory over Edison on Wednesday afternoon.

Senior attack Angela Costanzo scored five goals and distributed two assists for the Bears, who pulled away from a one-goal halftime lead by outscoring the Eagles, 9-4, in the second half.

Freshman Chloe Tauber fired in three goals in her very first varsity game. Kelsie Miklos finished with two goals and three assists for East Brunswick, which had 26 shots to 19 for Edison.
