EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick girls soccer team broke a tie midway through the second half and went on to a 2-1 victory over Old Bridge on Tuesday.
Rebecca Crocco converted a left-footed shot over the head of Old Bridge's goalie from 15 yards out with 18 minutes left in the second half after accepting a feed from Kayla Flynn after Flynn's explosive run down the left flank.
In the first half, Sabria Glasgow gave the Bears a 1-0 lead four minutes into the game after Katrina Nguyen-Demary got past two Old Bridge defenders to make a pass through the back line. Glasgow's goal was her fourth this season.
Lauren Krinsky made seven saves for East Brunswick, which extended its record to 3-0.
