EDISON, NJ – Kevin Hoagland took his oath for another term as Middlesex County Surrogate, while Charles Tomaro, Leslie Koppel and Shanti Narra were sworn in to serve on the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders this evening at the Middlesex County College.
Hoagland, a resident of North Brunswick, has served as surrogate since 1992. Tomaro, of Edison, has served on the Board of Chosen Freeholders since 2011, while Koppel, of Monroe, was appointed in February of 2017 and was elected to her full first term in November. Narra was appointed to the Board in October of 2016 and elected to her first full term in November.
Among the attendees at the event were Governor-Elect Philip Murphy and Speaker-Designate Craig Coughlin.
