East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) will host two health programs this November.
Dr. Ira Merkel, MD, presents “How To Speak To Your Docto"r on Wednesday, November 9 at 7 pm. The program offers tips and suggestions on how patients can get the most out of their medical appointments. Dr. Merkel is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Medical School and is a practicing Gastroenterologist in East Brunswick. Registration is not required.
On Monday, November 14 the library hosts a Medicare Workshop at 6 pm. It will cover several topics, including Medicare changes in 2017, understanding plans and policies, and the biggest mistakes made by beneficiaries. The workshop is led by Justin Lubenow and Mike Salem of Senior Advisors. Registration is recommended. To register for the program, call the library at 732-390-6767.
These programs are free and open to the public.
