MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Dozens of business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs shook the hands of many representatives of state agencies at Rutgers University's Cook Campus on April 22. These state agencies included the New Jersey Business Action Center, New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of the Treasury, the State Library, Board of Public Utilities and the Small Business Development Center, just to name a few. 


New Jersey Secretary of State, Tahesha Way, and Melanie Willoughby, the Executive Director of the New Jersey Business Action Center, as well as others talked to all the business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs and encouraged them to reach out and network with all the representatives.

It was an afternoon spent on learning about the many programs and services that are available for business owners. There was also a lot of encouragement and direction to help grow those businesses in New Jersey. 


The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce was honored for helping organize this program alongside the New Jersey Business Action Center, the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Development Center-Rutgers-New Brunswick.
