EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - East Brunswick celebrated the grand opening of its newest store on Sept. 19, as Karl's Appliance hosted an event for vendors, contractors and elected officials.

The Grand Opening ceremony celebrated Karl's newest location, it's sixth in New Jersey.  It also celebrates a return to Middlesex County for Karl's, as for many years, they had a store in Perth Amboy, which closed a couple of years ago.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, owner Dan Schwartz thanked East Brunswick's officials, who helped move the process along for a quick approval and opening.  In his remarks, Mayor Stahl also reflected on the aggressive effort in getting the approvals for Karl's to open, citing how the new processes in place help businesses get started in East Brunswick quicker than most other towns in the area.  He also cited how having a store like Karl's opening reflects the positive view of opportunities for business in East Brunswick.
