Kindergarten Registration Begins: Check Your Dates

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -  It's almost time for the "Tea and Sympathy" sessions at East Brunswick's elementary schools as moms and dads prepare for their kids to go to public school kindergarten in the district.  All EB elementary locations will soon be accepting registrations for kindergarteners for the 2017/18 school year.  Whether a child will attends Warnsdorfer, Central, Bowne-Munro, Memorial, Lawrence Brook, Irwin, Frost, or Chittick School, the first day is always the roughest on parents.

Children who will be five years of age on or before October 31, 2017 are eligible for East Brunswick Public School's full-day kindergarten program for the 2017-2018 school year. Registration will take place in each of the elementary schools.  To register, parents should report to their home school.  If parents are unsure of their home school, they are advised to call the Transportation Department at 732-613-6740. 

Here is a map of the locations of East Brunswick Elementary Schools.  All schools hold grades K to 5.

Registration will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at each elementary school, as follows:

Wednesday, March 8, 2017    -          Last names beginning with A-M

Friday, March 10, 2017           -          Last names beginning with N-Z

In addition, evening registration will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at each elementary school, as follows:

Tuesday, March 7, 2017        -           Last names beginning with A-M

Thursday, March 9, 2017       -           Last names beginning with N-Z

Parents unable to register on these dates are encouraged to call the office of their home school to make an appointment. To allow the school district to plan appropriately for the coming year, it is important to register as soon as possible. 

Please visit http://www.ebnet.org/registration for a complete list of registration requirements.  Forms may be downloaded and completed before you go to the school. Forms are also available in the main office of all eight elementary schools.
