EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - McDonald’s will welcome Autumn early this year with the August introduction of the McCafe Pumpkin Spice Latte. The beverage is expected to be available in all US locations by the end of August.

Originally introduced in 2013, the McCafe Pumpkin Spice Latte has not appeared on the restaurant’s menu in three years.  Contrary to urban legends, the beverage does not contain pumpkin, instead coffee is flavored with cinnamon and other spices usually associated with pumpkin pie.

When the pumpkin spice latte returns this year, it will be doing so about a week before industry giant Starbucks releases its famed Pumpkin Spice Latte.

There are 311 McDonald’s franchises in New Jersey. Two of them are on Route 18 in East Brunswick.
