MILLTOWN, NJ - Milltown's Main Street was crowded with patriotic onlookers today as the township celebrated America's 241st birthday. First responders from Milltown, East Brunswick, North Brunswick, New Brunswick and Franklin drove their shiny new and historic old vehicles with horns honking. Bagpipes bleated. Politicians waved. Kids scrambled for thrown candy. Scouts ambled along. Dancers did high jumps. Vets celebrated their service.
The days events also included a duck race, food, and music, all leading up to this evening's fireworks spectacular.
