NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - It took 13 games, but the East Brunswick varsity baseball team finally fell from the ranks of the unbeaten on Sunday.

Somerville scored four runs in the third inning and went on to a 7-4 victory over the Bears Sunday morning as part of the Autism Awareness Baseball Challenge, a weekend-long festival of baseball involving 32 teams from around the state.

East Brunswick (11-1-1) was limited to four hits, including two by Daniel Iannarone, who drove in a run and scored one. Nick Clemente and Chris Cap had the other hits for the Bears, who remain undefeated in the Greater Middlesex Conference. Somerville is 7-2.
