SOMERVILLE, NJ – Pac-Man, the Super Mario Brothers and the Ninja Turtles are all getting together along with their video game buddies to help support the borough police department.

The Somerville PBA #147 is sponsoring an all-day fund raiser at the Yestercades video game parlor, 29 Division St. beginning at 11 a.m. and lasting through midnight Sunday, Aug. 14th.

Special pricing will be in effect, with 50 percent of the proceeds donated to the PBA. Money raised by the PBA gets put back into the community in the form of scholarships for Somerville Schools and donations to local charities.

In addition to dozens of console video games, Yestercades features pool tables and old-fashioned skee ball games.

An all-day pass for unlimited game play of old school arcades, pinball, and console games costs $15, a savings of $10 off the regular price. Hourly rate is $7.50, normally $8.75.

To qualify for the special pricing, players must tell Yestercades about the PBA offer, or download and print the flyer available on the PBA website.
