EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Lady Vikings soccer team downed rival East Brunswick, 1-0, in a defensive showdown on Saturday.

The Vikings' Madie Butler fed Adriana Debari for the game's only score in the first half of play.

From there, South Brunswick goalie Sydney Schneider kept the Bears out of the net, saving seven of eight shots in the victory.

Bears goalie Lauren Krinsky saved five shots.

The Bears have lost two straight, falling to 9-2-1, while South Brunswick improves to 5-5-1.
