SOUTH RIVER, NJ - Answering a report of a residential burglary on January 12, 2015 at 9:09 pm, South River Police Officers responded to a residence on Burton Avenue. During the course of the investigation, officers determined that an illegal entry was made into the residence and various electronics were taken. South River Detectives Castellano and Klein conducted an immediate investigation which lead them to a residence on Seppi Avenue.

As a result of a search at that location, the property stolen from the Burton Avenue burglary was recovered inside of the residence along with a loaded 32 caliber revolver. Following the search, 37-year-old Allen Bradley was arrested and charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, forgery, and certain persons not to possess a firearm.

Mr. Bradley was subsequently transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in lieu of $60,000.00 bail, say police. Additionally, with assistance from the East Brunswick and Sayreville Police Departments, a large amount of items stolen from reported burglaries in their jurisdictions were recovered and later returned to the rightful owners.

This investigation is active and continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Joseph Castellano of the South River Police Department at (732) 254-9002 ext.106. As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Allen Bradley are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
