SOUTH RIVER, NJ - As part of an ongoing narcotics invesitgation by the South River Police Department Detective Bureau, members of the South River Police Department executed a court approved search warrant upon a residence on Stanton Street on March 03, 2016 at approximately 7:00 am, .

As a result of the investigation, over 11 bricks of heroin totaling over 550 decks along with crack cocaine, 20 roxycodone pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, $1286.00 and a motor vehicle were seized, say police.

The resident, identified as 43-year-old Dawn Proctor, was arrested and charged with the following offenses: possession and possession with the intent to distribute heroin; possession and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine;  possession and possession with the intent to distribute roxycodone pills; possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone;  possession of marijuana under 50 grams; and possession of drug paraphernalia. After processing, Proctor was transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in lieu of $75,000 bail.

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Dawn Proctor are merely accusations and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
