Stressed Out? East Brunswick Public Library to Host Reiki Relaxation Program

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ There are several different techniques to reduce stress and increase relaxation. Have you ever tried reiki before?

Heidi Scanlon of Freedman Chiropractic Center LLC leads the program “Stress, Sleep, and Reiki” at the East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) on Thursday, March 30 at 7 pm.

Reiki is a Japanese alternative medicine that promotes healing and self-improvement. Scanlon has been practicing reiki since 2000 and is the co-owner and director of New Jersey School of Reiki LLC and president of the New Jersey Association of Reiki Practitioners.

Following the hour-long presentation, she will lead a question-and-answer discussion.

“Stress, Sleep, and Reiki” is free and open to the public. The program is part of East Brunswick Public Library’s “Just For The Health Of It” consumer health and wellness information initiative. Additional information can be found online at www.wellinks.org.
