EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – THE MAX Challenge, one of the nation’s fastest growing fitness concepts, is scheduled to host its second annual "Day of Giving" on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 am -1 pm in BiCentennial Park.

Silent Auction for Gift Baskets, Bake Sale and Family Fun eventsEach year, every MAX Challenge Center chooses a charity and makes efforts in multiple ways to fundraise for them.  This year, THE MAX Challenge of East Brunswick has selected the March of Dimes for their work in support of families affected by birth defects or premature birth.

In May of 2016, THE MAX Challenge of East Brunswick raised over $8,500 for the Embrace Kids Foundation who as an organization assists families that are affected by pediatric cancer.  This year, the location has increased its fundraising goal to $15,000.

“The March of Dimes is an admirable organization.  I feel fortunate that although my daughter was born four weeks premature, she is healthy and happy, turning four in June.  I would look to an organization like the March of Dimes if my family was in need.” – Frank Baeli, Co-Owner, THE MAX Challenge of East Brunswick.

A culture of giving back and helping others is instilled in everyone at THE MAX Challenge from the members all the way up to the founder of the program.  “When our larger charity events conclude, we are all truly energized.  The feeling you get for being part of something much bigger than yourself and actually making a difference in the lives of people who need you is indescribable.” – Mikki Curcio, Co-Owner, THE MAX Challenge of East Brunswick.

Brad Cohen, Mayor of East Brunswick, will be in attendance to support THE MAX Challenge and share in the joy as the March of Dimes receives their significant contribution.  Final fundraising results will be tallied and communicated within two weeks of the event's conclusion.
