EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Between November 17, 2016 and December 31, 2016, every dollar raised for the building of the Torah Links Center will be matched three times from the Marion and Norman Tanzman Charitable Foundation. That means a $5000 dollar donation received before December 31 would benefit the organization with a total contribution of $20,000.
The Foundation is willing to match up to $450,000 according to an announcement made last week by Foundation President Jeffries Shein and Foundation Trustee, Roy Tanzman. “We are still about 30% short of our goal of $2.7 million dollars. This is a rare opportunity for our community to triple their additional investments in building a foundation for our future,’ said Rabbi Shlomo Landau who is spearheading the fundraising efforts for the Torah Links Center together with Rabbi Dovid Gross.
Construction for the Center, which is located on the corners of Hardenburg Lane and Dunham’s Corner Road in East Brunswick, is underway and the project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2017.
