With Respect, Honor, and Gratitude: East Brunswick Honors Veterans on November 11

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJThe Township of East Brunswick’s VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. outdoors  in Veterans Park at the East Brunswick Municipal Complex, 1 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive.  In the event of inclement weather, the program will move indoors to the East Brunswick Senior Center.

The Township’s annual VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE will thank and honor the men and women who served honorably in the military - in wartime and peacetime.

Master of Ceremonies will be Mayor Brad J. Cohen.  Serving as this year’s guest speaker is Tom D’Amico.  Tom served in the United States Army, shortly after graduating from East Brunswick High School in 2006.

Paul Deutsch and Irwin Steinlight of the Vietnam Veterans of America will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.  Wreath Bearers will be Tommy Coohill, Commander of VFW Post #133, Paul Deutsch and Irwin Steinlight of the Vietnam Veterans of America and Christine and William Koch, parents of  Steven Koch, who was killed in Afghanistan in the line of duty. 

Bagpiper John O’Keefe and bugler Chaplain John Marmion will also take part in this year’s program.  The East Brunswick Community Chorus will lead in song, and Boy Scout Troop #223 will assist with the program.
