EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Due to popular demand, East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) is offering “Beginner Coder for Adults,” a program series to teach the basics of computer coding for the internet this July.

Led by guest lecturer Preeti Gupta, the classes focus on teaching basic web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. After completing this hands-on course, attendees should be able to create a basic web page using the coding languages featured.

Preeti is an information technology enthusiast currently working as a senior software engineer with Genesys Telecommunications. She has almost 18 years of industry experience specializing in Java and J2ee technologies.

“Beginner Coder for Adults” is a four-part program series. The program schedule is as follows:

Beginner Coding for Adults I: Introduction to HTML on Monday, July 9 at 7:00 pm

Beginner Coding for Adults II: CSS for Beginners on Monday, July 16 at 7:00 pm

Beginner Coding for Adults III: Beginner JavaScript on Monday, July 23 at 7:00 pm

Beginner Coding for Adults IV: Putting it All Together on Monday, July 30 at 7:00 pm
