EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ—East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center) hosts “Path to Employment: New Jersey Career Connections,” a program for job seekers, on Saturday, January 13 at 10:30 am.
“Pathways to Employment” is presented through New Jersey Career Connections, a job search and career navigation service offered at East Brunswick Public Library through a partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the New Jersey State Library.
At the program, trained librarians will explain how to conduct a successful job search using the New Jersey Department of Labor’s “Plan, Prepare, Succeed” model. Information about several resources will be given, including where to get more in-depth help to create a resume, cover letter, or practice for a job interview.
This program is free and open to the public. Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome. To register, please call the library at 732-390-6767.
