EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ—Fifty years ago, performers and fans alike flocked to Woodstock, New York, for three days of music. In the same spirit, East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) is hosting a Folk Music Jam Session on Wednesday, August 28 at 7:00 pm.

Led by the Musicians & Friends' Folk Jam Central Meetup Group, this is a family-friendly acoustic jam session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their acoustic instruments.

The Musicians & Friends' Folk Jam Central Group Meetup Group is a network of local folk musicians who regularly perform together at libraries and public spaces. Their goal is to preserve and play the music of the 1960s and early 1970s. A schedule of upcoming jam sessions can be found online at www.meetup.com/Monmouth-Musicians-Meetup.

This program is free and open to the public. The Folk Music Jam Session welcomes all ages and performing abilities.
