MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Join the Middlesex County Office of Arts and History for an exciting program of music and dance traditions from Northern Argentina and Bolivia. The music program will feature Los Trovadores del Folklore and el Maestro Juan Arias with a participatory dance workshop led by Ballet y Escuela de Folklore "Sol Cuyano".
Un programa excitante sobre tradiciones de música y danza de los Valles Interandinos de Norte Argentina y Bolivia organizado por Middlesex County Oficina de Artes y Historia. El programa incluye una tocada de music por Los Trovadores del Folklore y el Maestro Juan Arias; con un taller participativo de danza, dirigido por la Ballet y Escuela de Folklore “Sol Cuyano”.
The event will take place June 22 at 2 pm and will be held at George Street Playhouse, currently located at 103 College Farm Road, New Brunswick.
“All cultures are united by a love of music and dance, and this event is a great way to learn something new or celebrate your heritage,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Ronald G. Rios. “Enjoy the live music and take your turn on the dance floor!”
“This event offers an authentic look at the colorful, musical traditions of the Interandean Valleys,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the Business Development and Education Committee. “Come learn about the culture of Argentina and Bolivia.”
