EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick Public Schools, like those across the state, will remain closed until at least April 17, said Governor Phil Murphy in his daily briefing today.

"Let me be clear, " said Murphy, " The decision to reopen school districts rests with me.  We will not be prepared to revisit the closure until at least April 17, at the very earliest."

He continued, "The decision to reopen will be based on careful discussion with our public health and safety experts, and with our educators and districts.  We will be guided by the facts on the ground."

Currently, students in New Jersey's public, private, parochial, and charter schools are working via online instruction.
