EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - As the 21st century leaves its teenage years and gets ready to roar into the '20's, the township of East Brunswick has updated the township website to increase accessibility and to provide a contemporary look. Check out the new view of "The Center of New Jersey."
Importantly, the site also includes the link to the updated location of EBTV, the township's television station which not only hosts live sports broadcasts, but also broadcasts township meetings right after they occur. EBTV broadcasts on Comcast Channel 26.
The information presented on the site is more comprehensive, rather than just containing lists, dates, and forms (though those are certainly there, too.) Check out these population statistics. It is easy to see that the dynamic growth period occurred in the late '60s and early '70s. It's easy to see why so many of the township's important structures look to date from that time. Since 1950, the population of East Brunswick has increased by 800%.
The Job Opportunities include one for a "System Administrator" to work with this new format and manage the IT for the township offices.

Moving forward, the Township will host its Reorganization Meeting for all township boards, commissions, and elected officials at 7:30 pm on Monday, January 6 in the courtroom at the municipal center.
Let the Roaring Twenties begin.
