EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - As of today, 14 residents of East Brunswick have been confirmed by the township's Office of Emergency Management as having COVID-19. This afternoon, one of those residents died from causes related to the virus.
The following is a statement from Mayor Brad Cohen regarding the passing of an East Brunswick man:
"Sadly, I have to report that we had our first Coronavirus death in East Brunswick. This was a 65-year-old male resident. I will not report any identifying information out of respect to the family. May his soul be a blessing and may his family find comfort in the prayers from our community.
As it stands- East Brunswick has 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and, sadly, one death."
