EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -  As per the East Brunswick Police Department and the Superintendent's Office, all district schools and the administration building are sheltering in place as the result of a police search in the township.  "Shelter in place" is not a lockdown designation which results from a direct threat in a school building.  Shelter in Place means that people do not enter or exit a school facility while there is a police investigation or other cause for concern outside.

According to the East Brunswick Public Schools, Parents will be allowed into school buildings for previously scheduled business including the History Con event at Hammarskjold Middle School.

All elementary students will have an indoor recess today.

The East Brunswick Police Department is attempting to locate Lee Nadeau Jr. who was involved in several domestic violence incidents last night and early this morning in and around several towns in Middlesex County.  

Nadeau Jr. was involved in multiple police pursuits with several agencies while operating a stolen car that was located in East Brunswick Township today. 

Nadeau Jr. is described as a white male, 53 years of age, approximately 5-10, 200 lbs, with salt and pepper color hair and a goatee.  He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.
Do not attempt to confront or apprehend this individual.
