EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The East Brunswick boys basketball team built a nine-point halftime lead on its way to a 68-53 victory over Hanover Park on Saturday.

Junior forward Brendan Devlin scored 12 points for the Bears (4-4), who led, 34-25, at halftime and then outscored the Hornets, 19-12, in the third quarter for a 16-point lead.

Junior guard Jackson Bayuk connected for 10 points and freshman forward Jalen Pichardo came down with 15 rebounds to go with five points for East Brunswick, which had 12 different players score at least one point.
