EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The East Brunswick boys soccer team pulled off perhaps its biggest victory of the season Thursday, defeating Monroe, 2-0.

Andre Shelton scored two goals in the second half with assists from Zane Taha and Anthony Rappa after a scoreless first half.

East Brunswick (7-3-1) handed Monroe (11-2) just its second loss of the season, despite being outshot, 10-7. Bears goalie Ryan McSwieney preserved the shutout with nine saves.
