EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Fast Break Buddy Ball will hit the boards at Churchill Junior High on Saturday morning, March 7, with doors opening at 1:00 and festivities beginning at 1:55 with the high level of enthusiasm East Brunswick has come to expect from one of the township's most popular and inclusive sporting events.  The cost?  Free!

Fast Break Buddy Ball gives our Buddies (players) a chance to enjoy the spotlight and showcase their newly learned skills, and competitive spirit.

The Buddies and their PALs (Jr. HS and HS volunteers) have been practicing every Saturday since the season started in December.   We have been working with some of the Buddies since the program’s inception seventeen years ago, but no matter if you are a veteran player, or a new player, the Game Day is a culmination of everyone’s hard work and dedication.

Our PALs, many of who return year-after-year, help our Buddies learn the game while monitoring their participation for safety.  A PAL means so much more for our Buddies, as they become a confidant and friend.

Presently, there are 65 Buddies and 95 PALs enrolled in the program.  Food and drinks have been graciously donated by the East Brunswick Education Association and will be available to all starting at 1:00pm.

Bring your family, friends, neighbors, cameras, video cameras, and enthusiasm.  We look forward to seeing you and being part of the fun!

Please come out and support this great event.  Check out the pictures from this season on Facebook at Fast Break Basketball Buddy Ball.
