MORRISTOWN, NJ- Park Rangers found 52-year-old man dead Tuesday night at the Morristown National Historical Park.
That night, rangers were notified of a possible deceased male located in the Fort Nonsense area of the park. Law enforcement agencies from around the county flocked to the scene with representation from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office-Major Crimes Unit, Morris Township Police, Morristown Police, the Morris County Sheriff’s Officer-Criminal Investigation Section and the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office.
According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, “the Cause and Manner of death are pending determination by the Medical Examiner, but this appears to be an isolated incident. There is no threat to the community.”
