EAST HANOVER, NJ - Police and fire personnel were called to the scene of an overturned car that struck a house on Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover this afternoon, according to the Breaking News Network (BNN), which monitors emergency radio activity.

The incident took place around 2:00 p.m., according to BNN. The service said first-responders to the scene found a car on its side in front of a home at 548 Ridgedale Avenue. No one in the car was trapped, but one person was transported to the hospital. 

The BNN reports, which have not yet been confirmed, said the fire department has shored up the house, and at this time a tow truck was enroute to remove the car. Additionally, the East Hanover building department was traveling to the scene to examine the structure. 

The cause of the crash is not yet known.
