PARSIPPANY, NJ - There was a suspected homicide that occurred in the morning of Sunday, November 22nd in Parsippany. An injured male outside a home on Troy Road led to the discovery of a deceased male inside the residence.

Morris County Acting Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker, Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon, and Parsippany- Troy Hills Police Chief Andrew Miller announce the investigation of a suspected homicide in
Parsippany, New Jersey. At approximately 9:00 a.m. on November 22, 2020, law enforcement received a 9-1-1 call
regarding an injured male outside a home on Troy Road, Parsippany, New Jersey. Upon arrival at
the scene, law enforcement officers located the injured male, and also located a deceased male
inside the residence. The cause and manner of death are pending and the investigation remains
open and ongoing. The identities of the individuals will not be released at this time. This appears
to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be any ongoing risk to the public.
The investigation is being conducted by members of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department,
the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Morris County
Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
